Examples of the financings that GSF’s professionals have closed over the last 10 years include:

 

  • International Project Finance:  Represented two large infrastructure investors in a $500MM purchase of a Canadian PV solar portfolio. GSF also helped in raising the senior debt for the investors.

  • Leveraged Leases for Class I Railroads:  Over a 4 year period, GSF led investor groups comprised of over 10 major U.S. banks and insurance companies in leveraged lease financings of over $2 billion of railcars and locomotives for two major Class I Railroads.

  • Leveraged Lease for U.S. Auto Manufacturer: Led a group comprised of a major U.S. bank and a U.S. industrial company in the leveraged lease financing of stamping presses and engine manufacturing lines for one of the major U.S. car manufacturers.

  • Aircraft Finance:  Retained by a major U.S. corporation and aircraft lessor in the structuring and placement of sale-leaseback financings to  assist in their acquisition of large commercial aircraft.

  • Secondary Market Lease Sales: Represented several large U.S. corporations and finance companies on the remarketing and sale of portfolio leased assets for rail, energy, mining and marine equipment.

  • Secondary Market Lease Purchases:  Represented a number of banks and insurance companies in the structuring, pricing, negotiation and closing for the purchase of existing leases of rail, aircraft, marine and energy equipment. 

  • Lease Renegotiation: Represented a number of US mass transits in the renegotiation, restructuring and voluntary termination of existing leases.

  • Portfolio Analysis and Management:  Retained by a large regional bank to review their leveraged lease investment portfolio and recommend the top candidates for sale.
